An unlabeled violin with a very resonant rich tone even across all strings. Soft luminous oil varnish.

18th Century violin made in manner of Enrico Catenari. A beautiful violin with unique inlaid ebony & mother-of-pearl scroll. The neck and scroll do not appear to be orginal to the violin. Stamped “FA” on the button & at the end pin. Very clear tone that projects very well.

Labeled “Joannes Franciscus Pressenda.” Not a genuine Pressenda but likely Bohemian ca. 1850. Nice one-piece back with full arching. Has strong warm tone. A few repaired cracks to top and cheek patches to peg box — all very solid.

Good German violin with excellent rich tone. Some varnish damage along treble side of finger board. Beautiful two piece flamed maple back.

Very nice Stainer model with carved lion’s head. Strong, focussed tone on all strings.

An unlabeled violin with repairs to the top but in very good condition. Has a strong clear tone on all strings. Double purfling in the style of Maggini with beautiful one-piece back.
