Very resonant rich tone even across all strings. Soft luminous oil varnish.

Beautiful violin with unique inlaid ebony & mother-of-pearl scroll. The neck and scroll do not appear to be orginal to the violin. Stamped “FA” on the button & at the end pin. Very clear tone that projects very well.

Not genuine Pressenda but likely Bohemian ca. 1850. Nice one-piece back with full arching. Has strong warm tone. A few repaired cracks to top and cheek patches to peg box — all very solid.

Good German violin with nice mellow tone. Some varnish damage along treble side of finger board.

Very nice Stainer model with carved lion’s head. Strong, focussed tone on all strings.

Repairs to the top but in very good condition. Has a strong clear tone on all strings. Double purfling similar to Maggini with beautiful one-piece back.
