This is a 16″ viola made in West Germany in ca. 1960.  It has a very solid tone that is even across all strings.  There is some minor varnish “chipping” on the upper right top but is only that which is normal for an instrument of this age.  There are not repairs to this solid instrument.

Viola labeled “Copy of Antonius Stradivarius Made in Czecho Slovakia”

This is a small viola (14 “) ca. 1930 that has an excellent focussed sound.  It has two repairs to the top that are very solid and a few marrs to the varnish but you would be very pleased with the instrument.

This viola is 15 1/2″ long and plays with a big, big sound.  It is new “old stock” and flawless.  It’s deep brown varnish over a golden ground is eye-catching.
